FACE GADGETS: OUR FAB 5
With salon visits a long way off, online searches for beauty gadgets are on the up. Here’s the cream of the crop.
The face massage must-have Facegym is one of London’s top facial destinations and its Gold Derma Roller [1], £40, is in high demand. Use it each day to boost circulation and improve lymphatic drainage. You can even roll it over your lips for a bit of plumping action.
The spot-buster
You get a lot of bang for your buck with Neutrogena’s Visibly Clear Light Therapy Targeted Acne Spot Treatment [2], £29.99. Blue and red LED lights target acne-causing bacteria and calm the appearance of breakouts.
The cult light mask
At £349, Currentbody’s Skin LED Light Therapy Mask [3], is pricey, but the collagenboosting benefits of LED light therapy make it an investment. It’s slim and bendy, making it the most portable LED mask too.
Pro-level pore treatment Sarah Chapman’s Pro Pore Refiner [4], £128, clears pores like a facialist. A small plate emits ultrasonic vibrations to loosen congestion, priming pores for extraction. Next the ‘sucker’ vacuums out the dirt and grime. Game-changing.
The Instagram sensation Chill 001 Skincare London’s Eyecicle tools [5], £120, in the fridge then use them around the eyes to tighten and brighten. They have been big on social media for a few weeks and celebrity facialist Nichola Joss says they’re ‘great for when eyes feel puffy first thing in the morning’.
