despite recent calls from ministers for office workers to get back to their citycentre desks, working from home full time isn’t going to stop as quickly as it began.
But while some thrive in the hubbub of the office, others work better in the silence of their living room. However, working from home makes it a lot harder for introverts to get their voices heard. Interacting with colleagues or pitching ideas can be tricky for those who feel reluctant to butt in during video calls. So, as part of our event series Grazia Onboard, in conjunction with UBS bank, we enlisted two WFH aficionados – journalist and author Yomi Adegoke and author, comedian and podcaster Viv Groskop – to teach us everything, from how to interrupt professionally to the best way to network virtually.
