CHART OF LUST
Who we're loving and living for right now...
1. Up KATE WINSLET
Who we referenced before for Mare Of Easttown, but we’re not sure we made it clear just how brilliant she/it is, cos we’d only seen ep one then, but now? Wow.
2. New in SEAN LOVE COMBS
The artist previously known as P Diddy, previously-previously as: Puff Daddy, Puffy, Diddy, Brother Love and B.love, who recently settled on the above, by deed poll.
3. Non-mover THE BOLTER
Of Nancy Mitford fame. We’ve worshipped her for decades, she’s currently stealing scenes in Emily Mortimer’s exquisite BBC adaptation of The Pursuit Of Love, and: EM plays her!
4. Up ROSE MATAFEO
On account of Starstruck (iplayer), which is a bit like Notting Hill, yet actually, not at all, and did make us laugh, very, very much.
5. New in ALEXANDER SKARSGÅRD AND ADRIEN BRODY
Both of whom will be in the new season of the extraordinary Succession, which is brilliant news, because we fancy them.
6. Up DRAKE
Debuted a look we’re naming Emergent Tie-dye for a recent West Hollywood dinner date with a young lady.
7. Up LUCY PUNCH
Whose depiction of worst-case scenario middle-class motherhood in Motherland (iplayer) is the most convincingly revolting we’ve seen, outside of real life.
8. Non-mover RIHANNA
If Covid cruelly took all our celebrity style obsession opportunities away from us… Rihanna is doing more than her fair share to bring them back. Most recently: this pixie cut.
9. Non-mover JOHN LEGEND
His love for Chrissy Teigen was apparently expedited by access to beauty products. ‘When we started dating, I started bumming her products off of her,’ he’s said.
10. New in CAZZIE DAVID AND JOHN MAYER
She’s the daughter of Larry David and ex of Pete Davidson (the comic currently going out with Daphne Bridgerton); he’s been out with… a lot of people. Now they’re together; someone, please do a spreadsheet?
