The other power collabs to know now
GUCCI AND BALENCIAGA
Billed as a ‘hack’ rather than a collaboration, codes from both houses are remixed in this game-changing partnership, which was unveiled during Gucci’s 100-year anniversary Aria show (think, Balenciaga Knife boots in the Flora print; Gucci’s Jackie 1961 bag covered in the Balenciaga logo). Judging how much demand there was for Gucci’s North Face pair up, expect this to sell out – fast.
VERSACE AND FENDI: THE SWAP
Milan Fashion Week’s jaw + floor moment saw Donatella Versace and Kim Jones job swap. The result? The rather nattily named, Fendace. Guaranteed to turn heads in fashion circles… and beyond.
MULBERRY EDITIONS
For its 50th anniversary, the much-loved Brit brand has introduced Mulberry Editions, where three designers were asked to create limited-edition capsules and given carte blanche to reinterpret some of Mulberry’s best-loved designs. First was Priya Ahluwalia who took on the Portobello, next, Richard Malone put his stamp on the Bayswater (below). Nicholas Daley’s offering lands this month.
TOMMY HILFIGER X TIMBERLAND
If you’re in the mood for some ’90s nostalgia, then check out the Tommy Hilfiger and Timberland’s remix of some of the decade’s biggest hitters.
MIU MIU X NEW BALANCE
Putting a spring in the step of normcore, Miu Miu reworked New Balance’s signature 574 style for S/S 22 with shredded seams. You already know you want them, but will you dare to wear with those super-duper low-slung minis and trousers? (Go on…)
YEEZY X GAP
Kim is not the only member of the Kardashian-west gang unveiling a mega collaboration. Kanye has loaned his eye for hype-basics (think hoodies and padded jackets) to American institution Gap.
