The Last Word erin o’connor

Each issue, people we admire reveal their lasts, from books to box sets. Here, model Erin O’connor, 45, shares hers…

-

The last box set I binged… the BBC’S Motherland.

The last book I read… Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier.

The last item I added to my wardrobe… a Maison Margiela pinstripe blazer.

The last meal I cooked… steak and chips.

The last time I felt starstruck… seeing the absolutely brilliant actor Mark Rylance walking down my local high street.

The last great piece of advice I was given… never fall asleep in your

tights – your toes will fall off.

The last beauty product I finished… QMS Medicosmetics’ face mask.

The last day I felt perfectly at peace… my birthday in February, going for a nice cold swim.

The last photo I took… was walking with my three-year-old son, Eddie, capturing our shadows.

The last account I followed on Instagram… Pamela Anderson (@pamelaanderson).

The last present I gave… was a Dior Bobby bag to my mate.

The last holiday I went on… was to Ballycastle, Country Antrim, which is also where my dad was born and where his family still live. It’s a small Irish fishing village with one of the best scenic beaches in the world. The local pub, O’connor’s, is sadly not in the family but they serve excellent food and local gossip.

The last song I listened to… Annie Lennox’s Diva album – on repeat.

The last restaurant I ate in… was at Claridge’s and I ordered fish pie, truffle chips and a glass or two.

The last promise I made… was to take magnesium daily for the rest of my life.

The last time I said sorry… was apparently in my sleep.

The last message I sent… I signed up for the school general knowledge quiz via the mums’ Whatsapp group. See you at the bar.

The last thing people would guess about me… I’m pretty good in goal and support Aston Villa.
