2 Meghan declares bare-leg season open!
IT SOMEHOW FEELS fitting that what you’d wear to watch a basketball game in LA – a shorts suit in a toothsome shade of pink - would also pass muster at a wedding in the UK. That’s exactly what the Duchess of Sussex (who made headlines later that same week after she signed with WME, one of the hottest talent agencies in Hollywood) chose for a courtside appearance recently. And it’s not a bad idea at all for your next nuptials.
Think about it. How else can you stand out in a group shot that’s otherwise floral dresses and fascinators? Also, considering that the start of tights-free season in this country is usually accompanied by a stiff breeze, it always pays to incorporate some sort of cover-up into your outfit so that it looks intentional. The duchess played it safe with her
accessories – a pair of pointed beige pumps that might just be a hangover from her days as a working royal – but here’s where your playbook should differ from hers.
