The BAFTA TV Awards are back!

And Official Champagne Partner to BAFTA Taittinger is on hand to make sure they’re a sparkling success

-

FROM WHIP SMART female-led comedy to gripping original drama, compelling documentaries and entertainment formats that had us talking every week, the best British television from the past year will be celebrated at a star-studded ceremony. Yes, it’s time for the 2023 BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises.

And what a year it’s been, with more must-see homegrown TV than ever. With more than 128 programmes receiving nods, leading the nominations is Sharon Horgan’s deliciously dark Bad Sisters, sweeping period drama The English with Emily Blunt, London-set crime drama Top Boy, and junior doctor dramedy This Is Going To Hurt starring Ben Whishaw.

Comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan will host the Awards on Sunday 14 May, when the industry’s most celebrated talent will gather at London’s Royal Festival Hall to toast a stellar year for British television and raise a glass to this year’s incredible nominees, including Sarah Lancashire, Kate Winslet, Cillian Murphy, Daniel Radcliffe, Claudia Winkleman, Gary Oldman and Billie Piper.

As Official Champagne Partner to BAFTA for 20 years, the stars will be toasting each other’s success with Taittinger’s elegant hallmark cuvée, the Brut Réserve. The award-winning, familyowned Champagne house has a long-held passion for supporting the arts, and is a proud, year-round partner of BAFTA.

The Awards will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iplayer, so you can watch along for all the dazzling red-carpet dresses, heartfelt (and hilarious) speeches, and root for your favourite TV stars to take home a coveted BAFTA mask. Cheers!

Make sure you’re awards-ready with a glass of Taittinger on hand to toast the winners. Taittinger Brut Réserve is available at all major wine retailers
