P7s shine in Wanderers victory

GREENOCK Wanderers’ primary sevens travelled to Glasgow to play GHK and celebrated a 13-8 victory.

The match was played in 4x10-minute sessions and they managed to come out top after a strong last session to finish them off.

Tries were scored by Ramsay (four), Darcey (four), Jake (three) and

Rhuairdh M and Mikey.

The primary fives were also at GHK and lost 6-10 in a tough match against a very big side.

Wanderers put a huge amount of effort into the match and battled all the way but just came up short. The under-15s were also in action at GHA where they were finally beaten 38-19 after a very competitive match.

Man of the match was Freddie McFeate.
