Carols back at Cappielow

-

CAROLS at Cappielow is back again next month.

The eighth annual event is being held by Inverclyde Christian Initiative in association with Morton.

Organisers say it is a chance not only to sing some great Christmas carols but also to promote the real meaning of Christmas.

Chris Jewell said, of ICI, said: “This is a free event and we would encourage everyone to wrap up well, as December can be cold, and join us at this special time of year for what must be by far the largest by far open-air carol service in Inverclyde.

“Supported by the Riverside Youth Band and the Port Glasgow Boys’ Brigade bugle band, we are looking forward to another great occasion.”

The carol concert takes place on Sunday December 4 between 4 and 5pm.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided ahead of the service.
