Indy rally at Lyle Fountain

LOCAL independence supporters are set to stage a rally in Greenock tomorrow evening as the Supreme Court makes a crunch decision on whether a future referendum could be held by the Scottish Government.

A number of Inverclyde SNP members are planning to demonstrate at the Lyle Fountain on Cathcart Square at 5.30pm, to show their support for separating from the UK.

The Greenock event joins 10 rallies being held across Scotland on Supreme Court verdict day.
