MP’s support for campaign

INVERCLYDE’S MP Ronnie Cowan is supporting a lifesaving campaign to improve early diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer.

Mr Cowan attended a Pancreatic Cancer UK event at Westminster to endorse their ‘No Time to Wait’ campaign.

He said: “Time is truly of the essence with this devastating disease.

“While we have seen significant improvements in the diagnosis, treatment and awareness of many cancers, progress on pancreatic cancer has been unacceptably slow.

“Following the pandemic and the huge pressure on the NHS, it is vital that life-saving efforts are made to invest in faster diagnosis and treatment.”
