Charity sends kids to panto

AN Inverclyde charity set up to fight poverty is sending children to the Beacon panto this Christmas.

A total of 100 tickets for Aladdin will be gifted by Children in Poverty Inverclyde to frontline services who are working directly with families, including social work, schools and nurseries.

The kids will get the chance to watch Still Game stars Jane McCarry and Mark Cox on stage in the festive favourite.
