MP STEPS UP ANTI-POVERTY PUSH
INVERCLYDE’S MP is battling against poverty by helping families get access to lifeline advice services.
The SNP’s Ronnie Cowan teamed up with both Financial Fitness and Inverclyde Council’s own money advisers to run a series of special surgeries.
He told the Tele he wanted to make sure that residents in need are getting the support they are entitled to. The MP said: “The special surgeries were designed to offer specialist help and advice to constituents facing up to the UK Government’s cost of living crisis.
“I want to thank Financial Fitness and Inverclyde Council for their help.
“We were able to offer advice and guidance to a number of constituents.
“My regular constituency surgeries will continue to offer this help in the coming weeks and months.”
