A&E waiting times falter

ACCIDENT and emergency waiting time target performanc­e has faltered at Inverclyde Royal according to latest figures.

The percentage of patients who were seen within four hours of arrival at the hospital between November 7-13 was 77.4, a fall from the previous week’s figure of 79 per cent.

But the figure was still better than the Scottish average, which was 65.3, and the NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde health board rate, which was 63 per cent.
