Colin and Mark do the double for Scots in Dublin

INVERCLYDE Athletic Club duo Mark and Colin Doherty were selected to represent Scotland at the Masters XC International held at Santry Park in Dublin.

Mark repeated his gold-winning performance in the V40 category, leading the Scottish team to silver medal position.

Colin competing in the v35 category and led the Scottish team home in 12th place overall for a well-deserved team fourth place.

Meanwhile, a trio from IAC have been selected to represent Scotland at the British Cross Challenge and Euro Cross Trial in Liverpool this weekend. Congratulations to senior woman Brogan Wallace, under-20 woman Meredith Reid and to coach Norrie Hay.

Inverclyde AC hold numerous sessions over a range of events throughout the week for both juniors (age eight and over) and seniors.
