A peaceful setting for a fitting final tribute
LOSING someone you love is a challenging and lonely experience.
Organising a funeral can be a daunting task, but the team at Clyde Coast & Garnock Valley Crematorium are on hand to help make sure your final goodbye is exactly as you want it to be.
It’s never easy to lose a loved one. The team at the Clyde Coast and Garnock Valley Crematorium are reassuring local families that they will receive a meaningful service and celebration of their loved one’s life. The team excel at personalising services for families whether that be working with you to decorate their Ceremony Hall or helping to source specialty items that your loved ones were passionate about.
“What we believe in is care, kindness, compassion and community,” explains Jennifer Hamilton, Crematorium Manager.
Conveniently located between Kilbirnie and Largs, the crematorium is easily accessible from both the Garnock Valley and Three Towns.
The unique location of Clyde Coast and Garnock Valley Crematorium – with a state-of-theart hall within the middle of the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park – can also bring comfort to families during their time of grief. “We have a very modern building and a unique location which sits beautifully within the landscape,” says Jennifer. “There are stunning panoramic views, so as you are sitting within the Ceremony Hall you can see Arran, and outwards over the beautiful Garnock Valley from the entrance. Families take a lot of comfort from our location.’’ “People tell us that their mum or dad, or whoever has passed, would have loved the location because they loved the local landscape, our coastal nature, walking, or that they just simply loved Scotland and our beautiful natural environment.
“It is very peaceful place, we are the highest located crematorium in Scotland. We have birds nesting during the season and they swoop in and out of the eaves of the building. We have received many letters from families saying that even when they were there to commemorate a life that had passed, and the whole situation was very difficult, they found a lot of comfort in seeing new life and nature all around them.”
