Junior parkrunners ‘rained’ supreme

NINETEEN junior parkrunners and 15 volunteers braved wild weather conditions to take part in the 69th Battery Park event.

This week, three runners, Shana Byrne, Lucas McCabe and Conor Jenkins, gained new personal bests.

A milestone was reached by ‘Wonder Woman’ Caitlyn Taylor, right, who gained her marathon wristband having completed 21 junior parkruns.

Congratulations also go to regular volunteer Tracey Howe, left, marshal and report writer, who celebrated her 100th volunteering session.

Parkrunners are asked to keep their eyes peeled on the Facebook and Twitter pages for news of the third birthday and Christmas event.
