Garden centre welcomes Santa

-

CARDWELL Garden Centre is kicking off the festive season in Gourock in style this weekend with a visit from some very special guests.

Santa Claus and Rudolph will be flying in from the North Pole to celebrate with everyone at the centre’s Big Christmas Weekend.

The festive fun, which includes Santa’s Grotto and a carnival, will run from 10am-5pm both today and on Sunday.

On Saturday, the Clydeside Singers and the Salvation Army Brass Band will provide the music, and the WOOPI Singers and Riverside Youth Band are performing on Sunday.

Real Christmas trees will be on sale and a Christmas treasure hunt, prize draw, face painting and food tasting are all planned too.

Santa will be at Cardwell every weekend right up to and including Christmas Eve, when the grotto will be open from 10am-4pm.
