AVENUE 5 – SEASON 2

-

(Eight episodes, starts streaming from November 30 exclusively on Now, Comedy/Sci-Fi)

Hugh Laurie slips back into his captain’s uniform as commander of the luxurious space cruiser Avenue 5 when the futuristic comedy created by Armando Ianucci OBE beams down onto Sky Comedy for a second outing and streams exclusively on Now.

Following the events of last series, Ryan Clark (Laurie) is faced with the unenviable task of informing passengers that their return to Earth has been delayed by eight years and food supplies will run out before they can glimpse home again.

The ship’s head of customer relations Matt Spencer (Zach Woods) and second engineer Billie McEvoy (Lenora Crichlow) are caught in the crossfire as guests become unruly and Avenue 5 drifts perilously close to the sun. Meanwhile on Earth, Herman Judd (Josh Gad), billionaire owner of Avenue 5, seeks to capitalise on the disastrous cruise.
