Charity bash raises £1,660

A FATHER and daughter duo raised an amazing £1,660 for charity at a bash in Port Glasgow.

Eddie Lapsley and daughter Tracy Fay held the event at Lodge Doric Kilwinning No 68 hall.

The money was split between Poppy Scotland and The Underheugh Ark Charity.

Eddie and Fay want to thank River Island for providing an excellent night’s entertainm­ent at no charge, the lodge for free use of the hall, and local businesses Curry Lounge, Tail of the Bank, The Cottage, Louis, A&J Property Maintenanc­e and both Port Glasgow butchers Duncan’s and Alexander’s plus Gourock, Port Glasgow, Ralston and Renfrew golf clubs for auction prizes.
