Ton players net hundreds
YOUNG footballers netted hundreds of pounds for a local worthy cause.
Players and coaches from Morton in the Community 2012s raised cash for Mind Mosaic Child and Family Therapies with a sponsored cycle around Millport.
Following their fundraising, the team visited the charity’s base in Greenock to learn more about the services.
Team coach Craig Scott said: “We did a wee sponsored cycle round Millport and about 40 people took part between the coaches, staff and players.
“We managed to raise a bit of money for the club and also some for Mind Mosaic Children and Families.
“It’s a really worthwhile charity that’s close to our hearts, it does a lot of fantastic work.”
