A POPULAR Greenock restaurant has been praised by a top awards body.

Tonino’s on Grey Place was ‘highly recommended’ by the Italian Awards after being nominated for two categories in the contest - best team and Scotland’s best pizzeria.

The venue was among the runners-up in both categories and received a commendation from the judges.
