‘Change’ for shared service

CHANGES could be on the way for a pioneering project which sees Inverclyde Council ‘sharing’ a number of services with West Dunbartonshire.

The two councils are holding an independent review of the arrangements.

A private consultancy firm has been drafted in to carry out the review, with their report now being reviewed by council chiefs.

Bosses say that the outcome of the review will be reported to councillors at the beginning of the new year.
