Church’s charity drive

INVERKIP Church is hosting a fundraiser in aid of Prostate Cancer UK. Popular local entertainer Jimmy Law and singer Bobby McCallum will be on stage in the church hall on Friday.

Their evening of stories, songs, poetry and humour follows on from the fundraising efforts of local woman Colleen Erskine in support of her brother-in-law Michael, who is battling prostate cancer.

Friday’s event will add to the £2,000 she raised from sponsored walks, helping more families affected by the illness.
