Plans made as CFO to retire

THE long-serving chief financial officer of Inverclyde Council has told Municipal Buildings bosses he plans to retire in 2024.

Alan Puckrin has been in the job since 2006 but will be standing down.

The local authority is drawing up plans to free him of some responsibilities as the date nears.
