Port is next for Xmas switch-on

THE second round of Christmas lights switch-ons starts tonight.

The illuminations will be turned on in Port Glasgow from 6pm at the town library.

The remaining four events follow on Friday.

At Quarrier’s Village the festive fun starts from 5pm at The Gateway Building on Main Street and in Kilmacolm people will gather from 6pm at the Cargill Centre.

At Inverkip the switch-on ceremony starts at 5.30pm at Inverkip Hub, with Wemyss Bay getting their party under way from 7pm at the community centre.
