Three wins for district players
CLYDE Netball Club’s Under-15s team represented Inverclyde District in a competition at the Emirates Arena.
The tournament, organised by Glasgow Netball, was the first time this age group have experienced an all-day event with long gaps between matches.
The Inverclyde players got off to the perfect start, winning their first three matches against Ayrshire, Renfrewshire and Orkney.
Inverclyde had a two-hour break before facing a strong Edinburgh side who took the win.
Last up was Lanarkshire, who came out strongly and left Inverclyde chasing.
Although they closed the gap to a few goals, Lanarkshire took the win.
This was a much-improved performance and lots of focus will be on training in the coming weeks.
The girls now have a break from matches after a busy few weeks.
