A welcome return

WELL done to the trio of councillors who between them have restored a weekend bus from the town centre to Overton and Pennyfern.

This is a good example of ward members working together to highlight an issue, campaign on it and convince the authorities at SPT to do a u-turn.

Passengers will benefit from the return of the service, which comes at a timely moment in the run-up to Christmas.

KILMACOLM Old Kirk is running a Christmas gift coffee morning and fair tomorrow.

The festivities will take place in the Kidston Hall from 11am.

Santa and his elves will be giving out presents in the grotto and Christmas songs will be provided by local choirs.
