Mischief makers brighten the day

-

PEOPLE in Inverclyde are being urged to commit random acts of kindness to brighten up their neighbours’ day this weekend.

Inverclyde Youth for Christ is leading the charge for ‘Holy Mischief’, asking everyone to do something thoughtful like bake a cake for someone else, put their bins out or give some flowers to strangers.

IYFC director Jen Dickson said: “We just think we need some more kindness in the world and want everyone to get involved.

“I think after the last couple of years we all need cheering up. “We are asking people to do something like buy someone behind you in the queue a coffee, or give flowers to someone and see them smile. “It makes people feel so happy when they are on the receiving end.”
