MORTON boss Dougie Imrie slammed the decision by referee David Dickinson not to award his side a second-half penalty for handball after they had to settle for a point at Arbroath. against pointing to the spot. Imrie asked for an explanation at full-time and says he is baffled the referee didn’t spot the incident and give his side an opportunity to retake the lead.

He told the Tele: “How my team don’t get a penalty is baffling. I’ve already seen the referee to ask for his explanation and he said his hands weren’t in an unnatural position.”
