Footballers’ cash boost

GENEROUS footballers have raised over £700 as part of their ongoing Christmas toy appeal.

Gourock FC recently handed over an armful of toys collected through their donation drive to Children In Poverty Inverclyde.

The club will continue to collect toys for needy kids in the run up to Christmas, with donation points in MacGregors Bar, The Whisky Room and every local Co-op store.
