Traffic arrest

A MAN was arrested in Port Glasgow at the weekend in connection with alleged road traffic offences.

Officers pulled over the driver on the A8 near the Waterwheel at around 10am on Saturday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A man was arrested in connection with road traffic offences after a vehicle was stopped on the A8 at 9.55am on Saturday. A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.”
