NEW PERSONAL BESTS RECORDED AT LATEST PARKRUN EVENT

A TOTAL of 150 people ran, jogged or walked the course, of whom 26 were first timers and 18 recorded new PBs. Representa­tives of 14 different clubs took part.

This was a pacer week, together with post-parkrun refreshmen­ts at the Inverclyde Vineyard Church.

There were seven milestones this week - Tor Brooks completed his tenth parkrun; Mark Fulton and Tina Stott both completed their 25th parkruns; Matthew Deegan completed his 50th Greenock parkrun; Douglas McEwen completed his 200th parkrun and Willie Logan completed his 250th parkrun.

Moira McCluckie, having recently completed her 100th run, volunteere­d for the 100th time.

With a new PB of 16:50, Swansea Harriers’ Sam Joseph was the first runner to finish. He was followed by Chris Mooney in 17:12 and Paul Monaghan closely behind in 17:16.

In a time of 22:05, Fiona McFarlane was first to finish for the ladies. Edinburgh AC’s Laura Kyle was second lady in 23:22, and completing the top three ladies was Lynne Harrison in 24:05.
