Lecturers die in bombing

TWO lecturers at Kabul University have been killed in an explosion in the Afghan capital, police have said.

The attack – in which a bomb attached to the car the pair were travelling in went off – took place yesterday close to the university.

The two lecturers, Mubasher Muslimyar and Marouf Rasikh, taught at the university’s Islamic studies faculty.
