No room for opinions

-

IT’S been a trying time for people in top positions who have opinions, historic or current, that others may not like.

They’ve been falling like flies. It kicked off with Japanese Olympic chief Yoshiri Mori falling on his sword after saying that women talk to much in meetings.

Then KPMG UK boss Bill Michael went the same way after telling staff to stop moaning and to get a grip before labelling unconscious bias as ‘complete crap.’

Hard on his heels in the jobless queue came Iceland PR boss Keith Hann, a Geordie, who said the Welsh language was gibberish and sounded like someone with bad catarrh. Howay he goes!

The irony is that while an elderly Japanese man is vilified for criticising women, it’s OK for the Brighton NHS Trust to get rid of them altogether with its ‘chestfeeding’ and ‘birthing person’ directives.
