MEET COUNTRY PARK’S ELVES AND FAIRIES!
LOCKDOWN FAIRY VILLAGE IS PUTTING SMILES ON FACES
A KIND-hearted stranger has been n brightening people’s days in n Cleethorpes by creating a fairy villlage.
As many as 20 fairy, elf and pixie e doors have popped up in Cleethorpes Country Park during the third lockdown.
Each door has a different design n and its very own house number to o make them easier to keep track of. Members of We Love Cleethorthor- pes on Facebook have been n sharing their pictures of the doors, saying they’re a “love act of kindness and fun”.
One member said: “I set off f on my misty, foggy, pre-work k walk and came across these e doors in Cleethorpes Country y Park.
“Thank you for making me e smile whoever made these – or was it really the fairies?” Families have begun “fairy y door hunting” while carrying g out their daily exercise, saying ng it’s a “great encouragement for or children to have a walk”.
One user said on Facebook: “Posting for a friend who wants to remain anonymous.
“The elves and fairies have moved into Cleethorpes Country Park. “They are living in the trees and shown by their little doors. “There are 20 of them (numbered 1 to 20) randomly scattered around the trees at the entrance to the park. “Can your children or grandchildren spot them all? A nice little exercise for when the weather is fine.”
It appears fairies have been popping up in other parts of Cleethorpes too, as another person claims to have spotted them outside Cleethorpes Library.
She said: “If you look outside Cleethorpes library, there’s a mini library at the front and a fairy door at the side – inside the blue railings. The fairy library has light on at night.”
