Hell in Hull
HULL was a gridlocked city this week.
Roadworks, bus lanes, new cycle lanes, all contributed to it being labelled as one of the most congested cities in Europe.
The council took the Government’s shilling to impose cycle lanes on the city, cut the limited road space down even further to accommodate them and then wondered why traffic came to a standstill. This is what happens when minority views are imposed on the majority. A lesson there for other local councils, methinks.
