Lincolnshi­re is happiest place to live in Midlands

A NEW survey has found that Lincolnshi­re is the happiest place to live in the Midlands.

Gold payment platform Glint recently conducted a study into the best and worst place to buy a house in the UK.

By examining more than 1,000 areas across the country, it was able to determine the best places for levels of beauty, quality of life and green they are to live in.

Lincolnshi­re was crowned the best place to live across the region, coming in with a score of 7.6 out of 10.

This included a multitude of factors, including the average price of housing prices per square foot, crime rates and the average salary.

Warwickshi­re and Northampto­nshire came in second and third on the list, also scoring a 7.6 rating.

Nottingham­shire was found to be the area with the least life satisfacti­on across the Midlands, only being awarded a 7.3 rating.

Overall, the Glint survey found that the average price per square foot in Lincolnshi­re is around £209.05, the average salary was determined to be £26,000 and crimes per thousand is 75. The county also received a house buying score of 67 out of 100.
