Prolonged and extensive road closure

I READ with interest the concern of Cllr Mickleborough with regard to the bus problems in Scartho.

I frequently travel both by bus and car through Scartho and am appalled that the road is closed to traffic, despite there being little evidence of any works or workmen.

Admittedly I did see two men digging a hole in the footpath, on Saturday. They were not alone either, being closely watched by two others!

Just who is in control, and responsible for this prolonged and extensive road closure? I appreciate that necessary works are, well, necessary - but surely when there is no one there the road could be put back in use?

For days, and hours on end I see no activity. Who cares?
