Brigg Garden Centre to open ice rink just in time for Christmas

BRIGG Garden Centre are embrac- ing the Christmas spirit even further r by opening a new synthetic ice rink. The North Lincolnshi­re venue has s already unveiled its impressive col- lection of festive decoration­s and d lights and has proved to be a hotspot for lovers of Christmas both young and old for many years now. From m Saturday, December 3, families will l be able to enjoy even more holiday y fun with the business’ latest attrac- tion.

Centre manager Ben Tomlinson n said that the ice rink should be ready y from Thursday and that “everybody y is really excited”. He added: “We’re hoping to have a really good weekend.”

The business offered customers a sneak preview of the ice rink over on its Facebook page, making families even more eager to get their skates on. One customer commented: Can’t wait to go next weekend and on Christmas Eve.”

Another excited individual wrote: “All booked, this will be my girls first time Ice skating. Cannot wait to see their faces now, what a magical day it will be.”

Santa Claus has already opened his grotto at the renowned venue and families are welcome to come visit him and the elves every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Christmas Eve, when they must return to the North Pole. This year, the attraction is bigger and better than ever, offering children a 40-minute group experience inside the grotto which features a train ride and a special gift from Mr Claus. The centre is already taking bookings for skating sessions but space is expected to be scarce. You can secure your spot on their website.
