Thanks for the Blues Heads-Up!

I don’t remember the exact issue, but you recently told us about three new blues releases by GA-20, Kid Ramos and Mike Flanigin (with Sue Foley on lead guitar). Thanks for that! I don’t want to imply that I live in a bubble (I totally don’t), but sometimes it’s hard to keep up with new music — and I’m still looking for bands to fill that massive hole left by Stevie Ray Vaughan’s death in 1990. I’m not saying any of these players are equal to SRV, but I dig their Jimmie Vaughan vibe and, in the case of GA-20, their tone. Speaking of GA-20, thanks for the story in the Holiday 2020 issue. More Sue Foley and Ana Popovic coverage, please!
