Zumbathon for little Alivia

-

More than £1,800 was raised at a zumbathon for a little girl with cystic fibrosis.

Sixty people zumba’d the day away at a fundraising event to raise money for a lifesaving vest for three-year-old Alivia Bostock, of Halifax, who was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at five weeks old.

The physio vest, that costs more than £7,000, will help the youngster to breathe. The event raised crucial money towards the cost of the life-saving equipment.

Alivia, who is pictured above with her mum Zoe Bostock, joined in with the event which was held at Arden Road Social Club, Halifax, dancing to her favourite song ‘Superman’.
