OPEN REHEARSAL IN MORLEY FOR BLACK DYKE BAND

Black Dyke Band will again present an open rehearsal at Morley Town Hall, this time for the British Open Championship test piece Vita Aeterna Variations by Alexander Comitas.

The rehearsal will start at 8pm on Wednesday, September 3 and this will be followed by a short concert.

It is important to note that the rehearsal this time is on Wednesday and not Thursday as is usual before a contest.

Admission is free and doors open at 7.30pm.

Before then, the band will play a fundraising concert at Ripon Cathedral this Saturday to support the choristers at the cathedral.

The concert starts at 7.30pm. Reserved seats are £18, unreserved seats £14, under-16s £8. Tickets are available on the door or by calling 07798 696379.

The band play at the Royal Albert Hall in the National Championships Final on October 11.
