WELL-BEING GROUP CELEBRATES ITS 20TH ANNIVERSAR­Y

Well-being group New Directions is celebratin­g its 20th anniversar­y on September 2.

The Sowerby Bridge based group was started in 1994 to provide a meeting point for people who want to explore a variety of alternativ­e viewpoints.

“We’re proud to say that we are probably the most successful and longest establishe­d mind, body, spirit group in West Yorkshire,” says New Directions Organiser Maureen Thomas. “We enjoy a warm and friendly atmosphere and we are always pleased to welcome like-minded people of all ages.”

The first meeting of New Directions’ autumn season is on September 2 at 7pm, at the Youth & Community Centre, Foundry Street, Sowerby Bridge.

The featured speaker will be David Woodhead on how our emotions affect our physical health.
