WELL-BEING GROUP CELEBRATES ITS 20TH ANNIVERSARY
Well-being group New Directions is celebrating its 20th anniversary on September 2.
The Sowerby Bridge based group was started in 1994 to provide a meeting point for people who want to explore a variety of alternative viewpoints.
“We’re proud to say that we are probably the most successful and longest established mind, body, spirit group in West Yorkshire,” says New Directions Organiser Maureen Thomas. “We enjoy a warm and friendly atmosphere and we are always pleased to welcome like-minded people of all ages.”
The first meeting of New Directions’ autumn season is on September 2 at 7pm, at the Youth & Community Centre, Foundry Street, Sowerby Bridge.
The featured speaker will be David Woodhead on how our emotions affect our physical health.
