Alex Forrester opened a meeting of the Wheatley Close Social Club in the Albert Lounge at Lee Mount Club and welcomed everyone. Raffle winners were: 1, Jean Thomas; 2, Dot Simpson; 3, Sandra Simpson. In the open the box competition Sheila Lloyd and Doreen Jowett both failed but received consolation prizes.
