Bishop blesses reflection garden

Halifax Courier - - This Week In Court -

Staff and youngsters at Holy Trinity Primary School, Halifax, have transformed the school’s outside space. They have created a quiet area complete with benches, a water feature and a wishing well where children and adults can go to reflect. They enhanced a wooded area by adding a pond, mini orchard, wheelchair friend- ly path, bug houses, native hedgerow and a butterfly garden. The Bishop of Huddersfield, Rev Dr Jonathan Gibbs, officially opened and blessed the area during a ceremony. It also included a presentation by a group of children called the eco warriors who have been involved in the ideas and implementation of the project.
