Letter of the Week
kins T Cell Lymphoma, or a type of cancer as it is known. Again, I find it hard to express my true feelings about the total dedication and commitment from all the staff at the Macmillan Unit at the Calderdale Royal Hospital. I do not think that people appreciate just how much some of these medicines cost. Some of the injections cost as much as a small car. I am only one person out of many going through the chemotherapy process, so one can understand that the costs must be horrendous. All I can say is, whatever happens, we must not let the NHS system go. I wouldn’t want us to finish up like the American Health Service.
