York latest victims as Pullen’s men win again
The Halifax-Huddersfield Union side made it three wins out of three this season with an emphatic 25-11 win over York at Bradley Hall last Sunday. Dave Pullen’s side were following up successes over East Riding at Meltham and Harrogate at Ripon.
They will bid to maintain their Yorkshire Inter-District League title push against Teesside at Eaglescliffe on Sunday week.
Halifax-Huddersfield lost the top foursomes match but hardly looked back after that with Matty Colcombe, Jake Hamilton, Andy Shaw, Jarrad Hazelden and Dan Hartley winning both their matches.
The hosts were 9-3 up at lunchtime and then won six of the 12 singles contests with two more finishing all square.
