Eureka! The National Children’s Museum, Halifax, January 18-September 13
The latest exhibition in the Spark Gallery in Eureka opens on January 18 and will run all the way up to September. Arboreal is a brand new, immersive digital environment, created by animators David Glicksman and Moses Journey. The digital forest features a number of interactive games and gives visitors the chance to take part in activities such as becoming a DJ, interacting with digital fireflies, dodge glow-worms and play on a giant dynamic pinball machine. www.eureka.org.uk

The Halifax Philharmonic Club promotes high-quality chamber music concerts every year in a season between October and April. Recitals by artists of national and international standing are presented in the Square Chapel Arts Centre, Halifax. An experienced caller will take you through the moves and continue to call as the live band plays English traditional dance tunes.
