Hope Baptist Church, Hebden Bridge, Saturday, January 18 at 1.30pm

January at Lunchtime

Live has a line-up of local musicians guaranteed to chase away the winter blues. For starters at 1.30pm there’s Reggie and the Krayfish featuring Daz Jones – Red Hippo/Pepperjam – with their unique blend of original songs with a rootsy blues/country/folk sound. The main course is provided by local legend Creedy’s take on progressive psychedelic rock and pop. He has been a significant part of the Calder Valley music scene for more years than he cares to remember. And January’s Lunchtime Live menu concludes with quirky duo The Men They Couldn’t Stand – aka Mark and Neil.

“Their traditional tunes may sound familiar, but we bet you’ve not heard them quite like this before,” said a spokesman. If two hours of live music does not send you home with a smile on your face, remember at Lunchtime Live you decide how much to pay. Donate what you can afford and know that all contributions will be split equally between the acts.

“Why not banish the January blues and come along to Hope Baptist Church on Saturday,January 18 and sample this fantastic

Creedy musical menu for yourself,” said the spokesman.

There’s more – a heads-up for February’s Lunchtime Live on Saturday, February 15.

The line up includes Fishing for Compliments and

Terri Logan and Chris Manley.

Access: Hope Baptist Church is wheelchair accessible with an accessible toilet and hearing loop.
